Diane was a senior technician in the Microbiology Department in Newport Road in the late 1960's - mid-1970s. She worked on the 2nd floor and managed the teaching lab there amongst other things.

She subsequently became a teacher and was head teacher at Bishop Childs School in St Mellons, Cardiff when she retired.

Retiring from teaching she was very involved with church matters and was a Bishops Visitor and a school governor in many other schools. She was also a Victim Support Officer.

Diane passed away at the Marie Curie Hospice in Penarth on 11th August 2021.
